When learning math in school, we always heard the whines and complaints of students who dreaded the subject. The sound of banging erasers and the marker hitting the board was a dreadful sound when being in math class. But with advancements in technology, math class does not have to be so dreadful anymore. There are many online courses schools and teachers now use in classrooms and one of them is Teach to One. The Teach to One program offers students the ability to comprehend the math curriculum for their grade level and customizes a playlist for each individual. In each playlist, students can find questions and assessments customized just for them. This program also has cool features in allowing students to see their skills and learn what new skills they will have learned throughout the school year. As well as, what to expect for their curriculum and how to understand the topics better.

Teach To One also offers the ability for students to take comprehension courses at a higher math level. Being able to have math customized for each individual shows just another advancement towards education. Not only is this a beneficial tool for students, but it also helps the teachers understand where their students are at with comprehending the subject, and the Teach to One Teacher Dashboard, allows the teachers to view their student’s progress and the areas they need more help in. Math is always a subject that students disliked, myself included. If I would have had the option to use a tool like Teach to One when I was in High School, I’m sure my interest would have peaked and my grades would have probably been higher, too. Overall, I believe that every school should be implementing this program into their classrooms because it helps the student understand what they are learning and how to achieve comprehension in the subject and it helps the teacher understand how their students are progressing in the course.
