Bo Parfet is a Kalamazoo local in Michigan, and his passion for changing how things are done propelled him to the academic professional. Bo went to the Northwestern University of Chicago and acquired a Master’s in Business Administration. He advanced his education by joining the University of Michigan, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics.

He began his career as a financer in the Financial Accounting Standards Board, where he worked as a researcher in making accounting laws. Bo later moved to another financial institution in Wall Street, where he worked as an Investment banker for J.P. Morgan (corporate finance).

During his time at J.P. Morgan, he started climbing the highest mountain in every continent globally, which he completed in 2007. After completing his journey around the world, he began his exploration to identify the challenges of entrepreneurship.

Bo is actively involved in philanthropic activities and innovations, specifically in social entrepreneurship. He established the Seven Summits Awards Program in 2004 in conjunction with other explorers whom he worked. The program offered top students with grants to research in the healthcare field. As a former student of Kellogg School of Management, he partnered with the Explorers Club to offer a lecture to students about invaluable leadership lessons. He has published several books.
