While Boris was working for Gazprom in 2007, he was appointed as the company’s Director General for Exploration and Production International, which was previously a company for oil exploration made to promote entry of Gazprom into the new market overseas. Mr. Ivanov was later on in 2011 appointed as GBP Global Resources B. V’s managing director, which is still his current position. In 2016 Mr. Boris Ivanov became the GBP Global Resources B.V major shareholder when the company underwent a process of leveraged buyout.
