Bhanu Choudhrie is a British-Indian businessman and investor. He is the founder of C&C Alpha Group London where he serves as the executive director. Bhanu Choudhrie has also been in charge of the company’s investment strategy since its inception. C&C Alpha Group is a holding company with investments in a wide range of businesses. These investment sectors include health care, utilities, hospitality, and real estate. Although Bhanu Choudhrie is based in London, his business strategies focus on emerging markets in Asia. C&C Alpha Group created Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) in 2006 led by Bhanu. AAG majors in providing training solutions. Within a decade the school became a leading training provider for new and professional pilots in Asia and the Middle east. The company has managed to achieve that position by investing in its Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) Training Programme. To manage the program, the company invested in the capital intensive simulators, currently owning six. The program then trains pilots to completion in 22 months which is a shorter time than other programs. The simulators allow them to have such faster training because pilots spend a lot of time training in the simulation.
Pilots graduating in the program are well equipped for the real world.The school has been such a success that they are considering expanding to Europe. The venture will also be a success if the company continues with the same trend as its other ventures. Bhanu’s success can be attributed to his passion for helping businesses identify and exploit new markets successfully. That is the same way he saw the need for a school for pilots in Asia and he had his company open one.
