Boris Ivanov was born and raised in Moscow, Russia and has become of the most influential figures in the energy sectors. He is a skilled individual with a degree in International Relations from the Moscow State Institute. Mr Ivanov developed his experience while working at the Soviet Union Ministry of Foreign Affairs. While at the ministry, he used to operate from Washington, DC, United States.
Boris Ivanov was one of the few young individuals whom the government recognized for their exemplary roles in the improvement of the Soviet-US relations. During that time, he had a chance to interact with various professionals and diplomats from America and the Soviet Union. After a successful mission, Russia became a republic, and its contract ended. He was now confused about what to do. Boris Ivanov was very passionate about what he would do and thus decided to venture into International trade, something which turned out to be one of the brilliant ideas.

Boris Ivanov got his first job as a bank where he was the person responsible for funding the oil and gas projects. He met with prominent individuals in the industry, who attracted him to the business. After working for several years, he quit joining Gazprom. The company was a leading oil and gas exploration by then. Gazprom recognized his leadership skills and promoted him to the top level. He was able to develop a lot of experience in the sector. The company later went through a buyout, and he had to think of what next.
Boris Ivanov, who resides in Monaco, established the current GPB Global Resources. He is currently working at the position of a managing director and is very passionate about bringing the relevant changes to the company. The company’s headquarters are based in the Netherlands, but they have a lot of operations work going on in Africa and South America.
According to Boris, Africa is one of the countries that have the availability of natural resources and this the need to invest a lot. The only challenge they have is the 54 countries with different environmental and legal requirements that make the entrance mission challenging. For GPB Global Resources, the company has managed to camp and is starting in the production and exploration journey in a bid to achieve its mission.
