The Everest Group CEO, Vinod Gupta, didn’t waste his life in an interminable pool of uncertainty. But he used his talents and spearheaded his success to unbelievable heights. Gupta started in a humble background, whereby he was born and raised in a small village within India. The village lacked most of the essential resources that people take for granted.
Mr. Gupta was not ready to acknowledge this as his fate, so he endeavored to improve his life and those of others. With time, he joined hands with the Indian Institute of Technology, and after four years, the aggressive youngster accomplished a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology.
From that point on, Vinod sustained his enthusiasm to succeed, and afterward, he relocated to the US with less than 60 dollars. Later, he joined the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, whereby he pursued two Masters Degrees; a Master in Engineering Science Degree and a Master in Business Administration degree.
New from the school, Mr. Gupta began working for Commodore Corporation, a mobile home producer situated in Nebraska, where Vinod was dwelling at the time. A brilliant idea came into his mind to build a catalog database of different companies. The proceeding step to support the plan was to secure a $100 bank loan, and it’s that small loan that became the catalyst to the significant developments we see today.
The firm eventually developed into a multi-million dollar business. At the level when the organization was flourishing, Vinod Gupta sold it for $680 million. The fruitful business visionary shifted into other great ventures, including Everest Group. He is today the firm’s Managing General, whereby he manages it by carrying several undertakings.
Gupta manages his riches well not only to promote his projects but also to give back to the community. He’s a dynamic philanthropist who gives to millions of needy people. Vinod much advocates for education, and that’s where he takes most of his contributions. Today, he has built many learning institutions in India, including in his village.
