Michael and I love to dress up- we love throwing on outfits that make us feel special, even if we’re only wearing them to the coffeeshop down the block. And when one of us ends up looking a little bit over the top or crazy, I think how lucky we are to be so evenly matched in what the term “dressing up” means to us.

Because Michael totally looked like a hipster Han Solo yesterday, and I was completely into it. It’s funny the way love translates into being infatuated with things you empirically know are silly.

Not to get sappy on you’all, but I’m just head over heels for this beardy face.

What I really can’t wait for is if he ever shaves it for good (hopefully years away, maybe never?), and we can look back fondly on these as the wonderful, bearded years.
